गोण्ड जनजाति की युवा चित्रकार सुश्री रेशमा श्याम का जन्म मध्यप्रदेश के जनजातीय बहुल डिण्डौरी जिले के पाटनगढ़ में हुआ है। बचपन से ही जंगल और प्रकृति के सान्निध्य ने आपकी चित्रकला रुचि को गढ़ा।

3 जून, 2024 से गोण्ड समुदाय की चित्रकार सुश्री रेशमा श्याम के चित्रों की प्रदर्शनी सह-विक्रय का संयोजन 'लिखन्दरा प्रदर्शनी दीर्घा' में किया गया। आपके चित्रों में गोण्ड मिथक, पक्षी और जीवन-वृक्ष का सुंदर आख्यान देखने को मिलता है।

Curatorial Monograph (English)

Reshma Shyam (रेशमा श्याम) represents the living tribal art legacy of Madhya Pradesh, originating from Patangarh (Dindori) / Bhopal. As part of Aadivart State Museum's ongoing commitment to indigenous master practitioners, their solo exhibition cum sale was curated in the prestigious Likhandra Exhibition Gallery ('लिखन्दरा प्रदर्शनी दीर्घा') under the monthly Shalaka - 15 initiative (June 2024).

Reshma Shyam from Patangarh, Dindori, carries forward the living Gond painting traditions, depicting birds, trees, and spirits of the wilderness.

Aadivart Museum operates the Shalaka program without commercial intermediaries, directly empowering indigenous artists by connecting them with collectors, art institutions, and cultural patrons worldwide.
