गोण्ड चित्रकार संतू तेकाम का जन्म मध्यप्रदेश के जनजातीय बहुल डिण्डौरी जिले के पाटनगढ़ ग्राम में वर्ष 1989 में हुआ। बचपन जंगल-पहाड़ों से घिरे ग्रामीण वातावरण में गुजरा।

3 फरवरी, 2024 से 29 फरवरी, 2024 तक 11वीं शलाका चित्र प्रदर्शनी 'लिखन्दरा प्रदर्शनी दीर्घा' में आयोजित की गई। संतू तेकाम के चित्रों में प्रकृति की प्राण-ऊर्जा, वन्य जीव और परम्परागत गोण्ड कला की अमिट छाप दिखाई देती है।

Curatorial Monograph (English)

Santu Singh Tekam (संतू सिंह तेकाम) represents the living tribal art legacy of Madhya Pradesh, originating from Patangarh (Dindori). As part of Aadivart State Museum's ongoing commitment to indigenous master practitioners, their solo exhibition cum sale was curated in the prestigious Likhandra Exhibition Gallery ('लिखन्दरा प्रदर्शनी दीर्घा') under the monthly Shalaka - 11 initiative (Feb 2024).

Santu Singh Tekam, born in 1989 in Patangarh, Dindori, was featured in the 11th Shalaka exhibition at Likhandra Gallery, presenting primordial Gond motifs of trees and birds.

Aadivart Museum operates the Shalaka program without commercial intermediaries, directly empowering indigenous artists by connecting them with collectors, art institutions, and cultural patrons worldwide.
