परधान गोण्ड समुदाय के 38 वर्षीय ब्रजभूषण धुर्वे गोण्ड चित्रकला की वर्तमान पीढ़ी के चित्रकारों में सुपरिचित नाम हैं। आपका जन्म मध्यप्रदेश के जनजातीय बहुल डिण्डौरी जिले के ऐतिहासिक ग्राम पाटनगढ़ में हुआ। युवा दिनों में अपने चाचा गोण्ड चित्रकार श्री कैलाश परधान के चित्रकला कार्यों को देखकर आपको भी कला के प्रति प्रेरणा मिली।
विवाह के उपरांत आपकी धर्मपत्नी श्रीमती सत्यवती धुर्वे भी आपके सान्निध्य में पारम्परिक चित्रकला कर रही हैं और आपके चित्रकर्म में निरंतर सहयोग करती हैं। वर्तमान में आप भोपाल में रहकर चित्रकला कर्म में स्वतंत्र सृजनरत हैं।
38-year-old Brijbhushan Dhurve represents the energetic modern vanguard of Pardhan Gond painters hailing from Patangarh, Dindori. Mentored during his formative youth by his uncle Kailash Pardhan, Brijbhushan developed mastery over intricate geometric patterning, curved hatching lines, and deep earth palettes.
His visual universe is densely populated by Pardhan cosmology—the sacred Bana string instrument, totemic birds, antelopes, and the life-giving boughs of the Mahua and Saaj trees.
