सुनीता परमार

युवा भीली चित्रकार सुनीता परमार मूलत: मध्यप्रदेश के झाबुआ जिले के लम्बेला गाँव (तहसील राणापुर) से हैं। हालाँकि बचपन से लेकर वर्तमान तक आप राजधानी भोपाल में ही पली-बढ़ी। आपके पिता श्री नरिया परमार एवं माता श्रीमती सनकु बाई मजदूरी का कार्य करते हैं। चार बहनों में आप तीसरे क्रम पर हैं। दोनों बड़ी बहनों का विवाह हो चुका है। आपकी छोटी बहन अभी आपके मार्गदर्शन में चित्रकला का कार्य सीख रही है।

आपने बारहवीं तक की शिक्षा हासिल की है। बचपन से ही आपको घर की दीवारों पर चित्रकारी करने और रंगों से सजाने का शौक रहा है। कुछ वर्षों तक आपने भीली चित्रकार श्री जामु सिंगाड़ के सान्निध्य में रहकर भीली चित्रकला की बारीकियों को सीखा-समझा और उनके सहायक के रूप में कार्य किया। श्री सिंगाड़ रिश्ते में आपकी बुआ के बेटे हैं। वर्तमान में आप स्वतंत्र रूप से चित्रकला कर्म में सृजनरत हैं।

आपने नयी दिल्ली, बैंगलोर आदि नगरों में आयोजित कुछ संयुक्त चित्रकला प्रदर्शनियों में सहभागिता की है। आपके चित्रों में जंगल-पहाड़, पशु-पक्षी के साथ जनजातीय संस्कार विशेषतौर पर द्रष्टव्य होते हैं। आप अपनी सफलता का सम्पूर्ण श्रेय भाई श्री जामु सिंगाड़ को देती हैं, जिनकी सतत् प्रेरणा और मार्गदर्शन ने आपकी चित्रकला को सुघड़ बनाया।

Artist Introduction (English)

Young Bhili painter Sunita Parmar hails originally from Lambela village (Ranapur tehsil) in Jhabua district, Madhya Pradesh, though she has grown up in Bhopal. Her father Nariya Parmar and mother Sanku Bai work as laborers. She is the third among four sisters; the elder two are married, while her younger sister is learning painting under her guidance.

She completed education up to Class 12. Since childhood she enjoyed painting on walls and decorating with colors. For some years she trained under Bhili painter Jamu Singad, her cousin, learning the nuances of Bhili art and working as his assistant. Currently she is independently engaged in creative painting.

She has participated in joint art exhibitions in New Delhi, Bangalore, and other cities. Her paintings prominently depict forests, hills, animals, birds, and tribal traditions. She credits her success entirely to her brother Jamu Singad, whose constant inspiration and guidance refined her art.
